The government has promised to set up the country's first national strategy for preventing domestic violence. The $328 million package includes funding for emergency housing worth almost $80 million. Labor¹ has also promised funding for survivors² of domestic violence, worth $60 million.

Keith Flint who was one of the most well known faces of 1990s British electronic music was found dead in his home near London. He was 49.
