There are calls for a royal commission into gambling⁸ following claims a major online sports betting agency used secret algorithms and delaying tactics to stop punters from winning. A former employee of Bet365, has told the ABC, the company used misleading methods to restrict successful punters. He says it added delays into in-play betting, creating an unfair advantage. Bet365 denies the claim.
