YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki says some "bad actors" are exploiting the video-sharing site to mislead, manipulate, harass¹ or even harm others. Parent company Google will have more than 10,000 workers monitoring content by next year to address the problem.

YouTube already relies on machine learning technology to remove violent extremist videos and will expand its use to flag videos and comments that contain hate speech or harm to children.

Several advertisers reportedly pulled ads in recent weeks because of videos containing questionable² content.

Youtube总裁Susan Wojcicki表示，有“阴险小人” 利用该视频分享网站误导、操控、骚扰甚至伤害他人。为解决这一问题，Youtube的母公司谷歌计划明年将内容监控员工规模扩大至1万多名。

此前，Youtube主要靠电脑识别技术筛选暴力或极端内容视频，今后，筛选内容还将包含言语上仇恨或伤害儿童的视频及评论。

据报道，最近几周，Youtube上很多内容可疑的视频都已被广告商撤下。
