1. Flights are being delayed around the country after a communication failure at a Georgia facility that processes flight plans for the eastern half of the US. The Federal Aviation Administration says there are no safety issues and officials are still able to speak to all pilots.

4. Federal authorities are now saying a possible assassination⁵ plot against Barack Obama posed no credible⁶ threat. Four people have been arrested after police say one of them was found to have rifles, a bullet-proof vest and walkie-talkies in his truck. They are facing only gun charges.
