Democrats¹ have forced a one-week delay in the committee vote to President Donald Trump's Supreme² Court nominee³. The Senate Judiciary Committee will now vote on Neil Gorsuch on April 3rd. Yet with solid Republican backing, his confirmation⁴ appears to remain on track.

A deadly apartment fire in Oakland, California. At least one person is dead after a four-alarm fire spread through a building on Monday morning. Officials say at least 50 people lived there. The cause is under investigation⁵.

The Oakland Raiders will soon have a new home. NFL owners approved their move to Las Vegas. The city offered the team 750 million dollars in public money to move.

She's a popular tourist destination and now she will be staying put through February of next year. New York's mayor announced the Fearless Girl statue will extend its stay on Wall Street, installed to highlight gender⁶ equality on corporate⁷ boards. The girl stares down another famous statue, the Charging Bull.
