 　　Old Jehan Daas was a man with a kind heart. 老耶汉·达斯是个心地善良的人。

　　So he drew the sufferer to his own little hut¹, which was not far away. 于是他把可怜的帕特拉斯基带到不远处自己的小茅屋里。

　　There he nursed the poor dog with such care that the sickness passed away. 帕特拉斯基在那儿被老人悉心照料着，好了起来。

　　Health and strength returned, and finally came a day when Patrasche stood up again upon his four strong legs. 终于有一天，帕特拉斯基用它四只有力的腿站了起来。
