 　　Mother, who made the stars, 妈妈，星星是谁造的，

　　which light the beautiful blue sky? 它的光把美丽的蓝色夜空照亮？

　　Who made the moon, so clear and bright, 是谁造的月亮，如此清澈，闪耀光芒，

　　That rises up so high? 高高地挂在天上？

　　IT was God, my child, the Glorious One, 那是上帝，我的孩子，荣耀的主，

　　He formed them by his power; 他用神力创造了星星月亮；

　　He made alike the brilliant sun, 同样是他，创造了灿烂的太阳，

　　And every leaf and flower. 以及所有草叶和花香。

　　He made your little feet to walk; 他为你造了小脚丫走天下，

　　Your sparkling eyes to see; 给你明亮的眼睛看宇宙；

　　Your busy, prattling¹ tongue to talk, 你忙碌的舌头咿呀呀爱说话，

　　We're kept beneath his watchful³ eye, 我们永远处于他的关注之下，

　　And guarded by his power. 由他的权能庇护得安宁。

　　Then let your little heart, my love, 我的爱，让你小小的心灵，

　　Its grateful homage⁴ pay 把它感恩的崇敬

　　To that kind Friend, who, from above, 归于那来自天上的仁慈的朋友，

　　Thus guides you every day. 让你每天跟从他的引领。
