 　　Come, and I will show you what is beautiful. It is a rose fully¹ blown. 来吧，我来告诉你们漂亮是什么。是完全绽开的玫瑰花。

　　See how she sits upon her mossy stem, the queen of flowers. Her leaves glow like fire. 看花中女王是如何安坐在长着青苔的枝干上，她的叶子如火般闪光，

　　The air is filled with her sweet odor. She is the delight of every eye. 空气中充满着她香甜的气息。她是每个人眼中欣喜的源泉。

　　But there is one fairer than the rose. He that made the rose is more beautiful than the rose. 但还有比玫瑰更美丽的，创造出玫瑰的人比玫瑰还要美丽

　　He is altogether lovely. He is the delight of every heart. 他还是可爱的，是每个人心中欣喜的源泉。

　　I will show you what is strong. The lion is strong. 我来告诉你们强壮是什么。狮子是强壮的。

　　When he raiseth himself up from his lair², 当他从藏身之处起身，当他摇动鬃毛，

　　when he shaketh his mane, when the voice of his roaring is heard, the cattle of the field fly, 当听到他的吼声，野外的牛儿飞奔，

　　and the wild beasts of the desert hide themselves; for he is terrible. 荒原上的野兽躲藏起来，因为他很可怕。

　　But He who made the lion is stronger than the lion, He can do all things. 但是创造了狮子的人比狮子更强壮，他能做所有的事情。

　　He gave us life, and in a moment can take it away, and no one can save us from his hand. 他给了我们生命，也可以在瞬间将它夺走，没有人能从他手里救出我们。

　　I will show you what is glorious. The sun is glorious. 我来告诉你什么是灿烂的。太阳是灿烂的。

　　When he shineth in the clear sky, when he sitteth on his throne in the heavens, 当他在晴朗的天空闪耀，当他坐在天空的宝座上，

　　and looketh abroad over the earth, he is the most glorious and excellent object the eye can behold³. 看向地球时，他是肉眼能看到的最灿烂、最杰出的物体。

　　But He who made the sun is more glorious than the sun. 但是创造了太阳的人比太阳还要灿烂。
