 当我们想形容一件事“不着急，可以等”的时候，英文要如何表达呢？

比如我们说先把工作处理好，其他娱乐活动不着急，可以等一下再说。这句话要怎么说才地道呢？来看今天的内容吧~

剧中Renly对Eddard说 I told them this meeting could wait another day.

Something can wait…可以推迟，…可以等，不着急...

Dinner can wait. We need to figure² out the schedule³ for tomorrow first. 晚饭可以推迟。我们首先得把明天的日程安排出来。

The movie can wait. If you're tired, we can go to a later showing. 不着急看电影。如果你很累的话，我们可以去晚一点的场次。

To look after 照管，照顾

There's no way I can go away with you this weekend. I have a company to look after. 我这周末不能跟你一起出去玩。还有个公司需要我去照管。

这里 go away with somebody 的意思就是出去玩

Look after不仅可以是照顾一个人，也可以是照顾一个国家，一个家庭。

Why are you always out? Don't you have a family to look after? 你为什么老在外面？ 难道你不是有家庭需要照顾吗？
