Besides, my boy, he has a wife—not three voyages wedded—a sweet, resigned girl.  他还有一位好妻子呢，结婚还不到三个航程呢！

Think of that; by that sweet girl that old man has a child: hold ye then there can be any utter, hopeless harm in Ahab?  那可是个好姑娘，还给他生了孩子呢！ 

No, no, my lad; stricken, blasted, if he be, Ahab has his humanities!  怎么样，对于亚哈船长你有所了解了吧？ 

As I walked away, I was full of thoughtfulness; what had been incidentally revealed to me of Captain Ahab, filled me with a certain wild vagueness of painfulness concerning him. 我默默地走了。 这个缺了一条腿的船长，让我心中有了几分怜悯之情，不过很快怜悯就被敬畏赶走了，这种敬畏我无法准确地描绘，但可以肯定的是它不是真正的敬畏。 

1 moody   

adj.心情不稳的，易怒的，喜怒无常的
