　　A:I should think you dance much, Miss Mary?

　　A：玛丽小姐，我想你常常跳舞吧。

　　B:Fair amount, but I have no brain for the thing. I can't improve it at all.

　　B：有时跳跳。可是我不肯用心，所以舞跳得没有长进。

　　A:Good heavens! There is no room for improvement.

　　A：哎呀！你太客气了，你跳得不能再好了。

　　B:Thank you for your compliment.

　　B：谢谢你的夸奖。

　　A:Miss Mary, you must be rather thirsty. Let's go to the buffet¹ and have some drink?

　　A：玛丽小姐，你一定口渴了，我们到柜台去喝点东西好吗？

　　B:That's a good idea,Mr. Green.

　　B：好主意，格林先生。

　　A :What may I get for you, lemonade. orangeade or port?

　　A：喝点什么？柠檬水，橘子水、或是波尔图葡萄酒呢？

　　B:Orangeade please, thank you.

　　B：谢谢，请叫橘子水吧。

　　A:The music has started again. What about another dance. Miss Mary?
