It's listing now at a forty-five degree angle, but crucially it's not taking onwater. Five hundred tons of fuel is still on board, and may have to be pumped out rather than rist any of its leaking.

  While they formulate⁷ a salvage strategy, the stricken vessel⁸ has become something of a tourist attraction here on the Hampshire coast.

   While the port of Hampshire remains open for business, but this is one ship that won't be going anywhere in a hurry, and there is two-hundred-meter exclusion⁹ on and around her now to keep other crafts away.

  Experts say the key to  a successful salvage operation is caution and major disaster has been avoided here, and there is no appetite to take any unnecessary risks now.
