A recently leaked memo indicates that as part of its acquisition of Nokia, Microsoft plans to rename Nokia Oyj to Microsoft Mobile Oy. 最近泄露的备忘录显示,作为收购诺基亚的一部分,微软计划将诺基亚公司重命名为微软移动Oy。
The memo, discovered by a site called NokiaPowerUser, appears to be sent by Nokia and addresses its existing devices and services business suppliers.被NokiaPowerUser发现的这份备忘录，很明显是由诺基亚发发给既有的设备和服务供应商的
The relevant name change passage states:
For those unfamiliar with the names, in Finland oyj and oy are types of business designations. So, in English, Nokia Corporation, at least the hardware business Microsoft purchased, becomes Microsoft Mobile.
In the letter, Nokia also assures its partners that all existing agreements will remain in place, stating:
Under the terms of the sale, Microsoft will assume all rights, benefits and obligations of the Nokia Devices and Services business... the current terms and conditions that you have with the Devices and Services business will not change.
Microsoft announced plans to acquire Nokia for $7.2 billion back in September 2013 and Nokia shareholders approved the deal in November.
In a brief press statement released on Sunday, Nokia revealed it expects the sale of its devices and services business to Microsoft to close on April 25.
