M: No long-term commitment to me?
F: no, their commitment is to the investors.
M: You’ve mentioned a third source of funding.
F: Right , a joint venture.

M:A joint venture doesn't appeal to me. (不能只会用:  I am interested in…)
F:there are a lot of advantages to have a partner.
M: sure, I can give some other company a fort hold in my market.

M: Like what?(for example)
F: like capital and additional expertise.
M:I would grow a lot fast.
F:and you would realize gains more quickly

M: My risk would be lower, I wouldn’t have any outstanding debts.(虚拟语气)
F: That’s right, plus you’d have your partner’s banks on your side.(stand by you)
M: with so many advantages, why don’t I like this?
F: It's your company, you don't want to give up control.
M: Who would?I don’t want to give up equity in my company.
F: You worked hard to build it up.
M:I’ve taken a lot of risks. I’ll take a few more.
F: so let’s stick with (stick to)banks.
Q: What does the client want to give up?
A:Equity and control.
Small talk:(表示成交)
