Retired US basketball players who recently joined Dennis Rodman for a game to mark the birthday of DPRK leader Kim Jong Un have arrived in Beijing Capital International Airport. 

But Rodman is not among them. He remains in the DPRK, and is expected to fly out early next week. Rodman’s goodwill teammate Charles Smith denied there had been any divisions within the team, and says Rodman remains a friend. Smith declined to comment on the situation of Kenneth Bae, the US missionary detained by the DPRK. Rodman had been slammed for not using his influence with Kim to help free Bae.
