Retired¹ US basketball players who recently joined Dennis Rodman for a game to mark the birthday of DPRK leader Kim Jong Un have arrived in Beijing Capital International Airport.

But Rodman is not among them. He remains² in the DPRK, and is expected to fly out early next week. Rodman’s goodwill³ teammate Charles Smith denied there had been any divisions within the team, and says Rodman remains a friend. Smith declined to comment on the situation of Kenneth Bae, the US missionary⁴ detained by the DPRK. Rodman had been slammed for not using his influence with Kim to help free Bae.
