Grandfather and I
watched farmer Gimble
and the policeman.
“We can’t move this donkey!”
the policeman shouted.
“What can we do?” farmer Gimble asked.
“Give him a carrot!”
granfather cried.
“That’s a good idea,”
farmer Gimble said.
“Here!” farmer Gimble called.
The donkey noticed the carrot
and jumped up.
He followed farmer Gimble
across the road
and that was the end
of the traffic-jam!
