 This is AP News Minute. 1. As climate talks ramp up in Paris, president Obama says he’s confident the world will be able to hammer out a major deal on climate change. Obama said Tuesday that parts of the agreement between nations should be legally binding. 2. Defense Secretary Ash Carter announcing a new strategy to combat the Islamic State group. Carter said a new special operations force will be sent to fight militants in Iraq and Syria. Meanwhile, the military will work on strengthening partnerships with local forces. 3. Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel has fired the city’s police chief as the city deals with one of its officers being charged with murder. Emanuel cited a lack of public trust in the department. Officer Jason Van Dyke is facing murder charges for shooting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald last October. 4. And a 10-dollar flea market find could turn this man into a millionaire. Frank Adams found this rare photo of notorious gunman Billy the Kid posing with the sheriff who killed him in 1881. The last photo of Billy sold at auction for 5 million dollars.
