The final blow to Batista's forces come when Che and his men ambushed an armor train, bringing reinforcement to Santa Clara.
 
December 31st, 1958, Batista fled Havana and with his entourage and several millions of dollars in cash. As news of Batista's departure spreads, troops begin to surrender.
Fidel ordered Che to march on Havana from Santa Clara, while he himself made a more leisurely victory prayed the links of the island.
 
32-year-old Fidel Castro and his rebel army arrived Havana, on January, 8th, 1959.
Today our eyes, those of the powerful pressures and those of the hopeful are fixed on us.
Che's dream is for united socialist Latin America, a new world ordered that will not set well with the United States. To attain it, Che will spread revolution across the continent, but first, more blood would be shed.
