This is AP news minute. 

1. The White House is calling a new inquiry into former national security advisor Michael Flynn "Appropriate". The pentagon's acting inspector general is investigating payments received by Flynn from Russia's state sponsored RT television network, as well as a Turkish-owned company linked to Turkey's government. 

2. The senior navy commander overseeing Pacific military operations says North Korea's crisis is at the worst point he's ever seen. Admiral Harry Harris Jr. told the senate armed service committee he has no doubt Pyongyang intends to develop a nuclear missile capable of striking the U.S. 

3. Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau applauded president Trump's announcement that he will not immediately pull out of the North American Free Trade Agreement, as originally promised. Trudeau said he and Trump had a "Good conversation about the issue Wednesday night". 

4. And the penguin colony at the London zoo has two new editions. The baby birds were hatched last week, one chick on Easter Monday, followed two days later by its sibling.
