This is AP news minute. 

1. The White House is calling a new inquiry¹ into former national security advisor² Michael Flynn "Appropriate". The pentagon's acting³ inspector⁴ general is investigating payments received by Flynn from Russia's state sponsored RT television network, as well as a Turkish-owned company linked to Turkey's government. 

2. The senior navy commander overseeing Pacific military operations says North Korea's crisis is at the worst point he's ever seen. Admiral Harry⁵ Harris Jr. told the senate armed service committee he has no doubt Pyongyang intends to develop a nuclear missile capable of striking the U.S. 

3. Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau applauded president Trump⁶'s announcement that he will not immediately pull out of the North American Free Trade Agreement, as originally promised. Trudeau said he and Trump had a "Good conversation about the issue Wednesday night". 

4. And the penguin⁷ colony at the London zoo has two new editions. The baby birds were hatched last week, one chick on Easter Monday, followed two days later by its sibling⁸.
