　　Mine eye and heart are at a mortal war How to divide the conquest of thy sight; 我的眼睛和心正吵成一团，争抢着要分享你的芳颜。

　　Mine eye my heart thy picture's sight would bar, 眼睛不许心儿亲睹你的倩影，

　　My heart mine eye the freedom of that right. 心儿不许眼晴把你自由观看。

　　My heart doth plead that thou in him dost lie, 心儿声称你本来就栖居在它的领土，

　　A closet never pierced with crystal eyes, 无人能窥其堂奥，纵有雷亮的眼珠，

　　But the defendant doth that plea deny 然而眼睛全不认心的申诉，

　　And says in him thy fair appearance lies. 坚持说惟明眸方使你花容长驻。
