1. President-elect Barack Obama says he had no contact with the Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich who is arrested today on federal corruption charges. Blagojevich is freed on his own recognizance. Federal prosecutors say Blagojevich was allegedly involved in pay-to-play politics, including seeking bids to fill President-elect Obama's vacant Senate seat.

2. A congressional aide says a military fighter jet crashed into a San Diego neighborhood after both of its engines failed. The crash killed at least three people. But the search continues for a child who is believed to be a one-year-old.

3. Three New York City police officers surrendered and were charged with felonies Tuesday for an attack on a tattoo parlor worker who authorities say was sodomized with a baton in a subway station. The incident happened in October. One officer is charged with aggravated sexual abuse and assault. The two others are charged with hindering prosecution and official misconduct.

4. You won't have to stay up as late to catch Jay Leno next year. He is going to be on NBC five nights a week at 10 o'clock. He is going to be on NBC five nights a week at 10 o'clock Eastern once he turns over the "Tonight Show" to Conan O'Brein. He says the new show will have many of the same features, like the monologue, but there will be no desk, because that now belongs to O'Brein.
