After a journey of 6.5 million miles, Endeavor touched down just one hour after sunset with its seven astronauts all safely on board.
Endeavor's commander Dominic Gorie said afterwards that it had been a very rewarding mission, with excitement from start to finish.
Endeavor blasted off into space on March 11th in a night-time launch.


It delivered a Canadian-built robot and the first component¹ of Japan's orbital laboratory Kibo to the space station.
