Bill Cosby will spend between three and ten years in prison for drugging and sexual assaulting a woman. The 81 year old has become the first celebrity¹ of the 'Metoo' era to be sent to jail. The judge has declared Cosby a sexually violent predator². Supporters of his victim Andrea Constand are celebrating after hearing the verdict, but Cosby's legal team says they will appeal.

And a Melbourne driver has had a lucky escape after being hit by a car travelling the wrong way on one of the city's major freeways overnight. It's believed a white BMW was driving on the wrong side of the Tullamarine freeway when it collided with a black SUV. Both drivers have been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
