There is a big snowstorm¹! 来了一场暴风雪！

The roads are closed. 道路都封闭了，

Everyone is stuck at the TV station. 电视台的工作人员都被困在电视台里。

What fun things can they do indoors²? 他们在室内可以做什么好玩的事情？

Susie's pets are at home. 苏希的宠物在家里，

She can't play with them in the station. 她没办法在电视台和牠们玩；

Taylor didn't bring her book. 泰乐没有带她的书；

But Alex did bring a new board³ game. 但是亚力克斯带了一套新的桌上游戏。

The rules are simple. They can still have fun! 规则很简单， 他们还是可以玩得很开心！

What are you doing, Susie? 苏希，妳在做什么？

I'm reading⁴ the weather report. 我在看气象报告，

There is a big storm outside! 现在外面有暴风雪！

I know. I looked out the window. 是啊，我刚刚看了窗外。

The weather is not safe. 现在的天气状况不是挺安全的，

We can't drive home now. 我们不能开车回家，

The roads are closed. 道路都封闭了。

We can wait here. 我们可以在这里等，

But the storm might last a long time. 可是暴风雪可能会持续很长一段时间。

I hope not! 我可不希望会这样！

I like snow. But I don't like being⁵ stuck! 我喜欢雪， 可是我不喜欢被困住！

I need something to do. 我需要有些事情可以做。

What do you like doing indoors? 妳在室内喜欢做什么？

I have dogs and birds at home. 我在家里有养狗和鸟，

Sometimes I teach them new tricks. 有时候我会教牠们新把戏，

But I can't do that here. 可是在这里没办法做这件事。

How about you? 妳呢？

I like reading. But I didn't bring my book today. 我喜欢看书， 可是我今天没带我的书。

We are stuck in the station. 我们都被困在电视台里了。

I know. But we can still have fun! 我知道，可是我们还是可以玩些好玩的东西啊！

I have a new board game. 我有一套新的桌游。

A new board game? 新的桌游？

How do you play? 怎么玩？

I can teach you the rules. 我可以教妳们规则，

They're simple! Then we can play together. 很简单！等一下我们就可以一起玩。

Sure! Let's play. 好啊！我们来玩吧。

1 snowstorm
