it was return to action that seemed impossible just a year ago. 40 year-old Lindsey Vonn speeding through a super G race in the French  Alps Saturday.

putting around the verge¹ of time and record for world cup race win. but the past two years have been in a up hill battle for the down hill darling. the Olympic gold medal winner forced to the side lines following a serious devastating² crashes and were recurring³ knee injury, keepng her out of the Sochi Olympic and puttng her career into question. now just four races back she nearly tie that world cup record sunday when her lock took the turn yet again.
