The teen is charged with four counts of attempted homicide, and 21 counts of aggravated¹ assault. Murrysville Police Chief Thomas Seefeld says it happened quickly:

(Seefeld)"I would estimate that time from the time that the officer actually put out the call on the police radio to the time that the responders got there and he was secured was probably a matter of five minutes."

He says the hallways were a mess.

(Seefeld)"We had students running about, trying to get out of the area."

Teachers, cafeteria workers, and students were helping² those who were hurt. The investigation³ is still underway.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett says he has received calls and notes of concern from many, including Connecticut Governor Dan Malloy.
