President Trump¹ arrived at Paris Thursday morning. He's spending Bastille Day in France and is set to meet with French President Macron and US military leaders.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson visited Kuwait and Qatar, as he tries to iron out differences between several Persian Gulf² nations. Four countries broke off relations with Qatar, accusing it of supporting extremists. Qatar denies it.

Senate Republicans are expected to roll out their latest health care proposal Thursday.. GOP leaders are pushing for a vote next week. But some Senate Republicans are objecting to the proposal.

And hundreds of firefighters are battling multiple wildfires in northern Nevada and northern California. Flames have burned about 300 square miles, mostly ranch³ land near Reno in the past week.
