Multiple tornadoes² tore through areas west of Kansas City, Kansas, entirely³ leveling homes in some towns. At least a dozen people were taken into hospitals Tuesday.

Severe weather also reached the east coast, with a twister confirmed in eastern Pennsylvania. Tornado¹ warnings were issued for parts of New Jersey⁴ and New York City.

Agriculture officials say the massive floods in Oklahoma could hurt the state's crops. There's concern that the next canola and wheat harvests could be smaller and come later.

And a rockslide, avalanche⁵ in Montana's Glacier⁶ National Park trapped a group of bicyclists for about 8 hours. Park officials say the cyclists were cold but they were not hurt.
