Daniel: My Mom and I sometimes goes to the “Food Market”together. I’ve learnt something about vegetables in school but when it comes to the real¹ thing, it’s not so easy for me to tell their exact² names. Mom would³ help me with them. She’d make a great teacher I think.

Daniel：Mom, where are you going⁴?

Mom：I am going to buy some food to cook supper.

Daniel：Good. I wanna go with you.

 

丹尼尔：太好了，我想和你一起去。

 

Mom：How strange⁵! Our little emperor⁶ now asks to help out with shopping.

Daniel：We learnt about vegetables and meat at school. But I never see the real thing.

Mom：Wow, that’s something new. Let’s go!
