That means they can even get nutrients¹⁴ from paper, so the books aren't safe, neither is the glue holding the books together. Silverfish will even eat larva and the family photos are at risk too. Another interloper, usually more at home outside takes advantage of a free meal. A bee scrambles¹⁵ for a pollen¹⁶ fix, collecting nectary in its honey sacks. It would take the load back to its hive. Unfortunately for this bee, pollen's not the only thing it will carry home.
