　　Four-year-old Jack loved to eat a small bowl of ice cream after dinner.And he had the habit(习惯)of licking(舔)the bowl after he had finished the ice cream to “make sure he got it all”.

　　His mother tried to tell him that it was not a good habit.So she said,”you know,when I was your age,my mother told me that licking my bowl was a VERY impolite(不礼貌的)theing to do.”

　　Jack thought for a minute,then said,”Well,you can do it now if you like,because I don’t mind at ALL!”
