   巴西总统的支持率在上升

RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- After falling significantly amid anti-government protests that shook Brazil just four months ago, President Dilma Rousseff's approval rating is once again on the rise, according to a poll released Tuesday.

The survey, conducted by polling firm MDA and commissioned by the National Transportation Confederation, shows the Brazilian government's approval rating reached 38.1 percent in September, up from 31.3 percent in the previous poll carried out in July, a month after protests broke out in June.
The results confirmed an earlier survey by pollster Datafolha, which indicated that while Rousseff's popularity took a significant dive after the protests, her government is slowly regaining1 confidence among the public.
A total of 38.1 percent of respondents said Rousseff's administration was doing a good or very good job; 39.7 percent rated it as regular, and 21.9 percent said it was doing a bad or very bad job.
The president's personal approval rating rose from 49.3 percent in July to 58 percent in September, and the portion of citizens who disapprove2 the president fell from 47.3 percent to 40.5 percent in the same period.
The president's rising popularity was credited to several factors, such as the government's swift response to the June protests and improvements in Brazil's economic situation.
Most respondents believe the government has solved some of the problems highlighted by the protests, and 36 percent believe their income will increase in the next six months.
In addition to gauging3 the president's approval, MDA also surveyed voting intentions in next year's presidential elections.
A total of 36.4 percent said they would vote for Rousseff, up from 33.4 percent in July.
The survey involving 2,002 voters in 135 cities throughout Brazil was carried out between Aug. 31 and Sept. 4, and has a two- point margin4 of error.
