人民币计价黄金迈出重要一步 上海金正式启动!

 China, the world's top gold producer and consumer, launched a yuan-denominated gold benchmark on Tuesday.

作为全球黄金生产消费第一大国，本周二，我国发布了以人民币计价的黄金基准价格。

The first Shanghai gold benchmark, derived¹ from a 1 kg-contract, was set at RMB256.92 per gram on Tuesday. The benchmark price will be set twice a day based on a few minutes of trading in each session.

当日标准重量为1千克的首笔“上海金”基准价定格于256.92元/克。该基准价基于每个时段开始几分钟内的交易，每日进行两次定价。

The gold market is an important part of the global financial market. And because of that, almost every country in the world wants to have the power to set prices or at least have a say in the matter. Eighty percent of the pricing power is now in the hands of London and New York. Experts say the launch of "Shanghai Gold" means China is making significant progress in gaining gold pricing power.

黄金市场是全球金融市场的重要组成部分。正因如此，世界上几乎每个国家都想拥有设定价格的权利，或者至少在这件事上有发言权。现在，百分之八十的定价权在伦敦和纽约手中。专家指出，“上海金”的推出意味着中国在获得黄金定价权上取得了显著的进展。

"The Shanghai gold benchmark will provide a fair and tradable yuan-denominated gold fix price for global investors². It will help improve yuan pricing mechanism³ and promote internationalization of the Chinese gold market," Pan Gongsheng, deputy governor of the People's Bank of China, said.

中国人民银行副行长潘功胜表示：“上海金基准价将为全球投资者提供一个公允的、可交易的人民币黄金基准价格。这将有利于进一步完善人民币黄金市场的价格形成机制，加快推进中国黄金市场国际化进程。”

Experts say that with the launch of the yuan-denominated gold benchmark, the Shanghai Gold Exchange can gain more power to compete with the London Metal Exchange and the New York Commodity Exchange.

相关专家表示，随着以人民币计价的黄金基准价格的推出，上海黄金交易所可以在同伦敦金属交易所和纽约商品交易所的比拼中获得更多的竞争力。
