As days bleed into years

日子一天天过去

The Prince and his servants were forgotten by the world

王子和他的仆人们早已被世人遗忘

For the enchantress had erased¹ all memory of them from the minds of the people they loved

因为女巫也将他们 从他们所爱之人的脑海中抹去了

But the rose she had offered was truly an enchanted² rose

而她送给王子的玫瑰花真的是一朵魔法玫瑰

If he could learn to love another and earned their love in return by the time the last petal³ fell

如果在最后一片花瓣凋谢之前 王子能够爱上一个人并获得对方的爱

the spell would be broken

魔咒就会解除

If not he would be doomed⁴ to remain a beast for all time

否则 王子将再也无法从野兽变回到人类了

As the years passed he fell into despair and lost all hope

几年过去了 王子早已不再抱有希望了

For who could ever learn to love a beast?

因为谁会爱上一头野兽呢？

Little town it's a quite village

安静的小村庄

Everyday like the one before

每天重复着一样的生活

Little town full of little people

小村庄里 住着平凡的人们

1 erased   

v.擦掉( erase的过去式和过去分词 )；抹去；清除
